Job Description: Maritime Safety Specialist

Position Summary:
The Maritime Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of continual improvement in maritime operations. Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maritime safety, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of international maritime safety regulations, such as SOLAS, ISM Code, and ISPS Code.
4. Familiarity with industry-specific safety management systems (SMS) and risk assessment methodologies.
5. Strong understanding of emergency response procedures and incident investigation techniques.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex safety concepts to diverse audiences.
